I am a general paediatrician, wife, and mom to two busy young boys. My passion lies in building trusted, compassionate relationships with children and their families—guiding them through routine check-ups, developmental milestones, and complex medical journeys with empathy and reassurance.
I completed my M.B.,Ch.B. at the University of the Free State in 2016, followed by postgraduate training at Stellenbosch University, where I graduated Cum Laude with an MMed in Paediatrics in 2025 and became a Fellow of the College of Paediatricians of South Africa (FC Paed). My clinical interests span acute care, chronic disease management, palliative care, and developmental health, with a particular emphasis on preventive paediatrics and gentle, natural approaches.
I have extensive experience across South Africa, including work at 2 Military Hospital, Khayelitsha District Hospital, Karl Bremer Hospital, and Tygerberg Hospital, where I served as a paediatric registrar. I have also contributed to medical research, publishing a study on the clinical presentation of COVID-19 in children in the South African Journal of Infectious Diseases.
Beyond clinical expertise, I am deeply committed to empowering parents. I take the time to counsel and teach, ensuring families feel confident and supported in advocating for their children’s wellbeing. My practice is designed to be a safe, homely, and child-friendly space—a place where children feel at ease and families are welcomed with warmth.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy painting, cooking, and spending time in nature with my family, bringing that same creativity and balance into my approach to paediatric care.
